The Albion Hotel is located conveniently to the CBD of Newcastle, harbourside on Hannell Street in Wickham oposite the Newcastle Marina. The Hotel was built in 1922, has a long and colourful history and has recently been extensively renovated. The Albion is now a stylish, comfortable and affordable hotel that boasts full bar facilities and a fabulous menu available 7 days a week.
The refurbishment took six months to complete with the interior designed to be welcoming, warm and modern while being sympathetic to the character of the era in which the hotel was built. The deep reds, chocolates and timber combined with soft colourful furnishings provide an excellent environment in which to enjoy a fabulous menu and a fine selection of wines and refreshments.
Licensee Corey Crooks has carefully chosen friendly enthusiastic staff whom provide professional, efficient service. We welcome local and new customers alike and aim to please everyone while exercising responsible service of alcohol and gambling for all patrons. We have full foxtel facilites and all sporting events, tournaments, races and games are treated as a celebration with screening on our spectacular big screen TV’s.
The Menu is designed to accommodate all, for example you can enjoy a dozen oysters with a flute of sparkling in the Courtyard, a Wagyu Beef Burger with a James Squire beer in the front bar or a full three course meal in the more formal Bistro Albion. Customers are able to choose what is most suitable for them so as to ensure a positive experience.
